Factory-selectable frequency settings of 50Hz or 60Hz are available, with galvanic isolation for both input and output.

These inverters feature a two-stage design, consisting of cascaded converters. The first DC-DC converter generates an intermediate output voltage from the input voltage, which is then inverted to supply the desired output voltage and frequency by the second DC-AC converter.

Input protection includes safeguards against reverse polarity using fuses and under-voltage via automatic shutdown. Output protection features safeguards for maximum average power and maximum peak current. The unit automatically shuts down if operation curve limits are exceeded for more than one second. After shutdown, the unit attempts to restart every 2 seconds, up to 3 times. If the overload persists, the unit remains shutdown until input reconnection.
